This site is dedicated to the memory of Ralph & Jean Ison.

I would like to welcome you to this Forever by the Sea fund established to commemorate the lives of our Dad and Mum, Ralph and Jean Ison. Dad started this fund in Mum's name after she died on 20 August 2011 and now Dad has sadly passed away on 29 December 2012 we have included him in the fund. Dad spent three years in National Service just after World War II serving on HMS Creole in the Royal Navy as a Telegrapher and Coder. He loved sailing and sailed single handed in his little Graduate racing dinghy from Southampton to the Isle of Wight. When he finally persuaded our non-swimming and more-than-a-little-nervous mother to join him in Swansea Bay, the trip ended in disaster, capsizing the boat and relying on the services of the Mumbles lifeboat to come and rescue them! Mum never went sailing with him again!
